Sikshasandhan believes books as a powerful agent that contributes significantly to the educational reform process. It has published more than 90 books on education, autobiographies, biographies and books for children. It has also published books, communication materials in tribal languages besides Odia and English. Besides Sikshasandhan brings out SIKSHA, a bi-monthly magazine in Odia, which carries articles on issues and problems related to elementary education and proposing meaningful solution to the crisis facing elementary education system in Odisha. RANSA, another Quartely Bi-lingual Children's Magazine is also published by Sikshasandhan (both in Odia and Ho language) which carries folk stories, songs, riddles, village histories, paintings and experiences of children. Library and Reading Room Facilities: As a resource centre, Sikshasandhan accords top priority to building a well-stocked library. Its library contains more than 10,000 books, reports and journals. It subscribes to various national and international journals (37 in number), and has collected issue-based reports, statistical reports and a number of other valuable documents.

Sikshasandhan is having well stocked library having a range from mythology to modern science. The library is having all popular and exclusive books on Education, Sociology, Psychology, Mathematics, Language, pedagogy, Economics, Literature, Biographies, History, Geography etc.. The library is at present offer free of cost access to Scholars, Researchers, Teachers and Students The library too is having a children's corner having books for children in Odiya and English. The children’s corner is also have various toys on mathematics and science. Various weekly library sessions like games, story-telling etc. are conducted for children in the childrens corner.

Bi-monthly magazine :

Sikshasandhan brings out Sikha,a bi-monthly magazine in Odia, which carries articles on issues and problems related to elementary education in Orissa. It records the experiences of these who are voiceless or marginalised. It highlights the learning needs of the children of disadvantaged sections of society. It also carries pieces suggesting relevant and meaningful solutions to the crisis facing elementary education.

Quartely Bi-lingual Children's Magazine :

Sikshasandhan also brings out a quarterly children's magazine (both in Odia and Ho language) which carries folk stories, songs, riddles, village histories, paintings and experiences of children.
